Edgewater Welcomes New BuildersWe are expanding, adding two new builders and welcoming the return of one of our first! Gehan Homes and Highland Homes are new to the community, positioned directly on NASA Parkway, the main thoroughfare leading to the Johnson Space Center and Space Center Houston. Gehan is expected to start presales soon, with homes designed for 60-foot properties priced from the low $300,000s. The builder will have 18 homesites in the first phase of expansion. Highland Homes is slated for 15 50-foot properties. Pricing and the start of home sales will be announced soon. Coventry Homes — one of the first builders to offer homes in Edgewater when it launched 10 years ago — will also receive 15 50-foot homesites. Pricing will be from the $300,000s and floor plans will be released in January. “We’re excited to offer more new-home options in Edgewater,” said Bob Douglas, General Manager of Edgewater. “Our buyers have often touted location as the reason they choose Edgewater. Having builders of this caliber will add to the appeal.” Each builder is expected to receive another allotment later in 2021. “We are excited to bring new home designs to Edgewater,” said Paul Blackburn, region president for McGuyer Homebuilders, Inc., (MHI), parent company of Coventry Homes. “Bay Area buyers will enjoy the same sophisticated features found in all of our homes at a price that should prove attractive.” In addition to a prime location, the 538-acre Edgewater also boasts a playground and resident pavilion. The walkable community also will get a trail expansion and a dog park in 2021. Edgewater’s open green space includes 25 acres of protected wetlands. Children attend schools within the Clear Creek Independent School District. |
